Engine Hand Crank

Post by Timoun »

I've had this so long I can't remember where or when I got it. It is obviously old and seems to be made of tempered steel. MIGHT be stronger than newer replacements or reproductions. Some GM trucks of the '30s and '40s had cranks like this, but I don't know if it would fit a Patrol. Overall length is about 34 inches. Diameter about 3/4 inch. Crankpin length about 1 1/4 inch, Crank offset about 6 inches. I would sell it for $20.00 plus shipping.

Hi Julio-

Give me your mailing address -- use PM if you want to. I'll pack the crank and find out what it costs to ship, and you can pay me that plus $20.00 through Paypal.

Hi Julio-

I imagine shipping it to Columbia might be expensive. If you need a crank there is a listing in Parts And Compatible Parts for a Land Rover hand crank that is supposed to fit Patrols and which, I think, costs around $25.00 USD, plus shipping. That might be cheaper for you than buying mine.

All the best to you.

You would actually only be shipping it to Florida, to his virtual mailbox. They forward it to him in Colombia.
Beyond any hope for intervention

The measurements are close to the Patrol's hand crank, so it should work. At 34 inches it is longer than the Patrol hand crank by 4 inches.

Thanks for the info, Didn't know what a virtual mailbox was... thought it was for cyber mail!
