Question. the frame seems very solid compared to my other 68, but the weld seams have a small split just before the rear bumper(maybe 4 inches long and a couple mm wide) and the rear beam needs new metal on the inner face. How common is this?

tore this town this week... was a rollover I bought for the firewall, but am now also using the frame and Axles for my 68 and a few bits for my 57.

Not common at all. Other than rust I have never experienced any natural damage to a Patrol frame.

I spy one of Sorens Patrols. It took him awhile to sell all of them and he got more than expected out of them.
