Is there a suitable replacement for the hood bump stop? I think there are 6 of them that push into holes on the underside of the hood where it meets the fender.

I've used these in the past: Hood stops

If you are referring to the all rubber stem bumpers that push into the holes on the bottom flange of the hood, I used these from Steele Rubber Products:
https://www.steelerubber.com/gravel-shi ... 33-0016-45 They fit in a 3/8" hole. They also worked great on the bottom of the rear jump seats where the seats rest on the rear wheel wells.
This was on a true 69' model. Not sure if they would be the same for earlier years.
