would like to buy a manual starting rod which slips in the grill to engage crank pulley to turn over motor
in case....say...your starter stops working......ive read it also serves as the jack handle...?

I've heard that the Land Rover crank start handle interchanges with the Nissan Patrol... but considering I've never seen a Land Rover handle, take that with a grain of salt!

However, it;s a pretty simple design so it would be really easy to copy. I posted pics and measurements on it here:

Good luck!

The Land Rover one looks similar, I don't know that actual measurements. https://www.roversnorth.com/parts/pla95 ... ia_and_iii

The jack handle was a separate item.

I purchased one of these hand cranks from Rovers North. It seems well made. I did need to cut off about 1/8 to 3/16" off the end so the pin engaged fully into the 'receiver' part on the crankshaft hub.

If someone would post a photo with dimensions, one could be fabricated in an evening with a torch, a drill and a welder.

BOOM! Who would have guessed that everything you need to patrol your Patrol would be at this little forum.

I believe that I have a spare, including the original mounting blocks, that I'm willing to part with. Let me know if you're still looking for one.

This has suddenly become a hot topic. A few folks here have expressed interest in just the last couple of days. Please PM me. Sale pending, but if that falls through, you're next in line.
